I really enjoy the rain. It is like a soothing song to my soul. The thunder may be powerful at sometimes, but it also is comforting because it reminds me of God.
Job 37:5 "God thunders wondrously with His voice; He does great things that we cannot comprehend." ESV
I think all weather puts me in a good mood (minus dangerous weather) but rain gives me a soothing good mood. So for me, this verse comes to mind, along with blankets, hot coco, candles (in case the lights go out), and good company. Thank you God for blessings like these and for being so interesting and wondrous!
