I forgot to say that I R and P yesterday, so I did it yesterday and today and if God wills I will do it again tomorrow, well actually today, oops. I opened up the comments box so that anyone can comment so even if you do not have a blog you can comment, it is open to all! I like that right now, even though I may not be feeling it a year, month, week, day, hour, minute, or second from now, I cannot think of anything better to write about than Jesus Christ. He is the fufillment of my every dream and everything that I could hope for. Joe told a story this morning that I really liked. I cannot remember exactly how it goes but I will give it a shot and if anyone has some corrections feel free to comment. Here is the story:
A man was walking one day and found a very fine horse. This man was not in good shape and was unable to work and when the towns people heard that he had found this horse they said, "Oh, what good fortune you have found. Now you can sell that horse and be able to have good things." But the man said to them, "I will not sell this horse. For how do I know whether God meant for this horse to help or hinder me, so I will keep it." The next week his only son who was the only one able to work to bring in money was breaking in the horse and got injured in leg from being thrown off the horse. Then the towns people said, "Oh, what bad fortune you have found. You should have sold the horse. If you would have your son, the only one able to work, would not have injured his leg. Sell it before more bad things happen." But the man said to them, "I will not sell this horse. For how do I know whether God meant my son injuring his leg to help or hinder me, so I will keep it." A week later there was a sudden war and all of the sons of the towns people were called into war, but the man's son stayed at home because of his injury. The war was brutal, and not a son was spared when the war was over. The the towns people came and said, "What good fortune God has given with the horse and your injured son."
So many times when things are bad, I have the tendency to say it is the wrong thing and that everything should be perfect all the time. Maybe we just need to step back, and look at what God may be doing instead of what we want. I probably hacked that story up, but I hope you get the picture. Love everybody! Have a great ummmm well night/morning! He he he! ;p
