A friend of mine was commenting on their love for storms and it made me think of something that I read in the book Seeing and Savoring Jesus Christ by John Piper. I will just clip a little of what it made me think of from that book. It read, "In July 1995, my wife, Noel, two of our children, and I huddled on the floor, away from all windows, under the direct path of Hurricane Erin in Pensacola, Florida. One magnificent old pine tree sheared off the corner of our bedroom as it fell. During the eye of the storm we walked outside in a perfect calm to see the devastation... It was a heart-wrenching, worship-filled moment in the face of raw, unstoppable power... Beneath the wreckage of such wind you have two choices: worship or curse." I know that a storm with rain and lightning is different from a hurricane but the power of Jesus Christ to control a storm like when he rebuked the winds and the sea as it says in three of the gospels, that is what I like to dwell on. Well, this morning I R and I forgot to P until right now, so I did it and I really think that these logs will help me. Have a great night!

Hey hey, I was thinking something along those very same lines tonight...just watching the lightning. Nature is such an amazing window into God's majesty!
See you Sunday!
Yeah, now I think that I am an addict for storm noises. I have a CD that has rain and thunder and I have been listening to it for two days strait. Thanks pizzaman! JK But, seeing it like last night is soooooooo better than just hearing it.
