some more dorkiness, but mainly just funny

So... I know that I said I am a dork... but I do realize that everyone probably has these moments and that I am not really a dork. So, two times this week, I did some stuff that was pretty embarassing. Today, I was in a class and well, the professor said something funny and I let out a little sqeek. How do I know it was little (???) because it was not as loud as the one I later let out later!!! At the end of class I picked up my backpack and felt something squirming in my hand... I look down and it was a bug! (I think it was a water bug.) I sqeeked / sqeeled, whatever you want to call it. Out of about 200 people, I do not think anyone noticed, but it was still funny!

So, I was told in Bible Study that we should watch the sun set, observe a flower, etc. (I touched a bug, does that count!?! J/K) Mainly... the idea is to do this in order to be still, (be calm, do not focus on anything else) and think about God; how He created this (and we cannot), His imagination, His perfect existance outside of our lives, and His beauty. So, I was looking around and I saw a tree with white leaves. Amazing! White leaves? Did not exist in my mind until today! (If you do not believe me I will have to take a picture.) But seriously, a challenge, go outside and touch a tree. How long has it been since you have done that? Is your life too busy? I know mine seems that way and that is why I rarely if ever take the time to ENJOY a part of God's creation, Earth. I used to climb trees, and after this I have another craving to do so.

Another thing to talk about... I think it is great when you can go and play games with other people; it is fun, it creates friendship, and it keeps you active. I was watching abcNEWS and they were talking about Kickball. (I have seen people at Tech play this inbetween buildings on campus.) Now that is fun, but I heard something else in the report... a game of Rock, Paper, Sissors with winnings of 50000 dollars! (I believe I heard that correctly.) Now come on! Who forked out that money!?! Amazing what makes money these days! You people who have aspirations of being a bum better watch out... someday they may require you to get a degree in order to qualify to earn money for that! J/K Hope you guys have a wonderful day!
